Today’s Reading | Matthew 10
What one detail about you does verse 30 tell us that God keeps in His mind? How often in the course of a day does God have to change the number? Why does God have the hairs on our head numbered? That seems to be a very unimportant thing. It is also a piece of information that He must continually update. Seems like a lot of effort for information that makes no difference. However, if you ever watch a mother with her new baby, you begin to understand. She seems to study the baby for hours wanting to know every detail about the child. If she could, she might even count the hairs on his head. God cares about every detail of your life – even how many hairs you have. If He cares about your hair, how much more does He care about things like being singled out for your faith or being the only Christian in your unit? In what ways have you felt forgotten and alone? Underline verses 30 and 31 in your Bible to remind you of this great truth. Remember, God cares about every detail in your life. He will never forget you.
What are some of the details of your life that seem insignificant?
How can you begin to use this truth in your daily walk with Christ?
How can you begin to show others in your world this kind of love?
In light of this passage, what personal commitment can you make?
